TP-Link lists four Ethernet connections per Deco BE95 unit: one 10 Gbps port, one 10 Gbps SFP+/RJ45 combo and two 2.5 Gbps ports. The combo is one connection choice, not two independent ports. Map the internet uplink and wired backhaul before counting sockets left for a NAS or desktop.

eero emphasizes app-guided setup, compatibility with existing eero generations and a hub for Thread, Zigbee and Matter-enabled devices used with Alexa. Those are ecosystem differences, not proof that it will outperform a Deco installation through thick walls.

Deco describes combined wired and wireless backhaul with Multi-Link Operation. eero describes TrueMesh, TrueRoam and TrueChannel. These are vendor descriptions; YNIX has not measured latency, roaming or throughput in a shared test home.

eero Plus is an additional subscription for features including advanced security, ad blocking and parental controls. On either system, check which controls are included in your region and which require payment. A hardware discount does not establish the recurring cost.

Choose the BE95 shortlist when its documented port layout solves a specific wiring need. Shortlist Max 7 when retaining an eero network or its app and smart-home integration matters more. Verify the exact pack size, local specifications and return policy; neither manufacturer coverage claim is a guarantee for your floor plan.
